Linda Teixeira is an accomplished New York based lyric soprano and music educator. A founding member of QueensSound, Queens-based female musicians, Linda is an avid supporter of women in the arts. The group performs classical, contemporary, and original works by living composers.
Linda has recently performed with the West Islip Orchestra, as well as the Long Island Guitar and Mandolin Orchestra, and with Essential Voices USA at Carnegie Hall. Regionally, she has performed with Opera Night Long Island, dell’Arte Opera Ensemble, Regina Opera, Rockland Opera and Garden State Opera. She has also sung abroad with the Amalfi Coast Musical Festival and maintains a flourishing career in sacred and liturgical music.
